Trash Taxi LLC Terms & Conditions of Service
This is an agreement between you and Trash Taxi LLC and Lemon Clean Co. (and their affiliates, referred to collectively as “we” or “our companies”). Before using Trash Taxi services, please read these Terms and Conditions of Service, our Privacy Notice, our Recurring Payment Terms and Conditions outlined below, and other applicable rules, policies, and terms posted on the Trash Taxi website or made available to you (collectively, this “Agreement”). By using Trash Taxi services, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. If you do not accept the terms, you may not use the services.
You agree to have contracted with Trash Taxi LLC to perform the service of taking out and returning your waste and recycling bins at the specified address. You also acknowledge that Lemon Clean Co. may participate in or support the operational or administrative execution of these services. You agree that this is a monthly Service Contract and to pay Trash Taxi monthly in advance for services provided in that month.
Definitions
“Trash Taxi” means Trash Taxi LLC’s bin management service, including the Trash Taxi app and any associated tools or personnel.
“Lemon Clean Co.” refers to any affiliated company contributing labor, administration, logistics, or customer support to Trash Taxi services.
“Software” refers to all software (including updates) provided for use in connection with the service.
“Helpers” refers to individuals employed or contracted by Trash Taxi LLC or Lemon Clean Co. to perform any part of the service.
Home Access. By submitting your service subscription request online, you authorize Trash Taxi and its helpers to access your property (or other designated location) for the purpose of taking out and returning your waste and recycling bins. By subscribing to our service, you confirm that you have the right to authorize Trash Taxi and its helpers to access the designated property. It is your responsibility to ensure that Trash Taxi or its helpers have full access to your bins on the scheduled service dates. If Trash Taxi or its helpers arrive and are unable to provide service due to lack of access, you shall not be entitled to a credit or refund.
Service. Trash Taxi or its helpers will take out your waste and/or recycling bins on your designated trash day. After your waste and/or recycling items have been collected, Trash Taxi will return your bins to their original storage location. You agree that for a flat weekly fee, Trash Taxi will take out and return 2 waste bins per week for 1 calendar month. This totals 2 service visits per week, equaling 8 visits per month. Our standard service does not include transferring trash between bins or handling loose waste (especially loose trash, hazardous waste, heavy trash, pet waste or any other transfer or overflow of trash not placed in the bins).
Bin Access. You must ensure that Trash Taxi or its helpers have access to your waste and recycling bins on the scheduled service day, including gate entry codes, lock combinations, security guard verification, and relocating pets from storage areas. If Trash Taxi or its helpers are unable to access your bins for any reason, services will not be performed that week, and you shall not be entitled to a credit or refund. Trash Taxi reserves the right to decline its service for any reason.
Pricing. You agree to pay Trash Taxi the current monthly recurring service fee plus applicable sales taxes. As of May 9, 2024, the monthly base service fee is $48.00 for standard 2 trash bin service plus applicable sales taxes and $88 for 2 trash bins and 1 recycling bin monthly service plus applicable sales tax. Trash Taxi reserves the right to adjust the monthly service fee at any time at its sole discretion.
Change in Price. Although Trash Taxi strives to remain competitive and offer reasonable prices, some cost increases may be beyond our control. In the event that Trash Taxi changes the monthly service fee, we will provide you with 1 months’ written notice of any change. You have the option to cancel at any time if you do not agree with the price change. If you choose not to cancel, you will be billed the new recurring monthly service fee.
Billing. Service is billed at the beginning of each week on a recurring weekly basis to ensure uninterrupted service. Unless a specific request is made to cancel the service, billing will continue on a recurring weekly basis.
Applicable Sales Tax. All applicable local, state, and/or federal taxes will be added to the current recurring monthly service fee.
Payment Terms. By accepting these terms and conditions, you are enrolling in Trash Taxi’s Payment Plan and agree to the Recurring Payment Terms and Conditions. You authorize Trash Taxi to bill and charge the Payment Method and its associated Payment Account that you specified according to your selected Payment Plan. Trash Taxi services will automatically renew at the end of each selected period in your Payment Plan (either weekly, monthly, every 6 months, or every 12 months). Trash Taxi will automatically charge the full amount of Payment to your Payment Method each time your service renews, unless you cancel according to these terms and conditions.
Cancellation. Service may be canceled by either party with 1 week’s advance notice, except in cases where special volume pricing has been granted. Cancellation must be done online at https://www.TrashTaxi.com/contact or in writing at hello@TrashTaxi.com. Service is billed at a weekly price, and no partial credit or refund will be issued. Special volume pricing requires a minimum of 3 months’ advance notice for cancellation.
Pets. Homeowners/residents are responsible for containing and restraining their pets. If pets are not restrained, or if Trash Taxi helpers feel threatened by an animal, Trash Taxi reserves the right to refrain from performing the service that day. No refunds will be issued if pets are present during the time of service.
Vehicles. Trash Taxi will make every effort to place your waste and recycling bins at the curb for city pickup. In the event that your vehicle or any other vehicle hits or knocks over your bins, Trash Taxi will not be held responsible for any damage to the vehicle or bins.
Safety Issues. Homeowners/residents are responsible for maintaining code compliance with the city regarding issues such as fencing, gates, waste lines, and other applicable safety matters.
Service Identity. To reduce disruption, please note that Trash Taxi helpers do not wear branded uniforms or operate marked vehicles. If you have a short-term rental, we suggest informing your guests in advance to avoid confusion.
Customer Satisfaction. Our goal is your complete satisfaction. If a job is not satisfactorily completed, it is your responsibility to notify Trash Taxi within 7 days (preferably sooner) so we can investigate the matter and resolve it quickly to your satisfaction.
Changes to Trash Taxi. We may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue Trash Taxi services or any part of it at any time without notice. We may amend any terms of this Agreement at our sole discretion by posting the revised terms on the Trash Taxi website. Your continued use of Trash Taxi after the effective date of the revised Agreement constitutes your acceptance of the terms.

Disputes/Binding Arbitration. Any dispute or claim arising from or relating to this Agreement or Trash Taxi or Lemon Clean Co. LLC is subject to binding arbitration, governing law, disclaimer of warranties, limitation of liability, and all other terms in the Trash Taxi Conditions of Use. By using Trash Taxi, you agree to be bound by those terms. We may change or discontinue services at any time. By continuing to use our service after a policy change, you accept the updated terms.
Disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration under Indiana law. Trash Taxi and Lemon Clean Co. are not liable for damages caused by natural events, misuse, third-party actions, or any unintentional acts during service.
Disclaimer. Under the terms of this agreement, Trash Taxi and Lemon Clean Co. LLC will not be held responsible for any damage to your waste or recycling bins. Additionally, Trash Taxi and Lemon Clean Co. LLC shall not be responsible for any damage to property due to acts of nature, fire, vandalism, misuse, or abuse. Trash Taxi and Lemon Clean Co. LLC will not be held responsible for any damage caused to vehicles that may back up or hit your waste or recycling bins in any way.
Recurring Payments Terms & Conditions
By accepting these terms and conditions through your election to enroll in the Payment Plan you selected, you authorize Trash Taxi to bill and charge the Payment Method and its associated Payment Account that you specified according to your selected Payment Plan.
Trash Taxi services will automatically renew at the end of each period selected in your Payment Plan (either weekly, monthly, every 6 months, or every 12 months). Trash Taxi will automatically charge the full amount of Payment to your Payment Method each time your service renews, unless you cancel according to the terms and conditions stated below.
Payments, Payment Account, and Payment Method. You agree that the Payment Method specified by you for automatic Payments to Trash Taxi is an account that you own, and that you will maintain sufficient availability under your credit card limit or sufficient funds in the account linked to your debit card or other payment method, as applicable, to make your Payments. The automatic charge to your Payment Method will occur on the Billing Date of the month(s) of payment according to your Payment Plan. Additionally, Trash Taxi may subscribe to an account updater service, which may be supported by your Payment Method issuer, such as your credit card provider or bank. If your Payment Account number or expiration date changes, you understand and agree that your Payment Method issuer may notify Trash Taxi of such changes so that Trash Taxi can update your Payment Account information on file and charge automatic Payments to your new Payment Account information.
Automatic Renewal. Your service will continue for the length of the initial term you selected for your Payment Plan, and at the end of your Payment Plan term, it will automatically renew for additional prepaid periods of the same length unless you choose to cancel prior to that renewal, or your Trash Taxi service is canceled, terminated, or discontinued by you or by Trash Taxi. Your Payment Method will automatically be charged at the rates in effect at the time of renewal.
Notification of Payments. Except for a confirmation email from Trash Taxi confirming your selected Payment Plan, you may not receive any receipt of payment emails to your Email Account notifying you that a Payment has been made under the Payment Plan. Such confirmation email may be your only notification from Trash Taxi regarding your Payments under the Payment Plan. You understand and agree that Trash Taxi may not provide you with advance notification before a Payment is charged to your Payment Method.
Current Information. It is your responsibility to ensure that your Payment Method information and Email Account information are current at all times during the term of the Payment Plan.
Payment Method Declined. If any Payment charged to your Payment Method is declined, you authorize Trash Taxi to make additional attempts each day for up to twenty (20) consecutive days thereafter to successfully charge your Payment Method, if possible under such Payment Method. If Trash Taxi is unable to collect the Payment after twenty (20) days, your account will be subject to cancellation. The cancellation of your service may result in additional fees as outlined in the Terms and Conditions of Service.
Modification of Payment Plan. You may modify your Payment Plan to add or remove services through your Trash Taxi account at https://www.TrashTaxi.com/contact or in writing at hello@TrashTaxi.com. Modifications will take effect with the next billing cycle.
Cancellation. To cancel your service, you must notify Trash Taxi in writing at least 1 month prior to the end of your service. You may do this through the website https://www.TrashTaxi.com/contact or via email at hello@TrashTaxi.com. If you cancel your service, you will continue to receive service until the end of the current billing cycle, at which point your service will cease and you will not be charged for the subsequent billing cycle.
By accepting these Terms and Conditions, you are acknowledging that you have read, understood, and accepted all terms related to the service you are receiving and the Payment Plan you selected.

4. Data Security
We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to safeguard your personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse. However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.

Our services are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware of such data being collected, it will be deleted promptly.
